Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) - Blue - Medium - Young
Update: I can not say enough wonderful things about Blue. He has been to the dog park and dog day care and does great with dogs of all sizes (even our friend's 3 1/2 pound yorki-poo puppy). When at our 25 acre, off leash dog park, he stays close and comes right back whenever called. He is great with cats! He is a very young boy, close to 1 year. he is just days away from knowing "sit." He walks well on a leash. He is an active boy outside, but calm and well mannered in the house. He stands nicely for baths. He only barks when someone comes to the door or if he gets really into playing with another dog (he'll bark while play bowing at them). Blue is an amazing dog who needs someone to give him his forever home.
Blue is a very happy boy. His tail is always wagging. He is a great dog who just needs a family to teach him some basic manners. He has never had an accident in the house. He loves playing with other dogs. Blue is learning how to play ball. He chases it- but is not yet the greatest at bringing it back- but he does drop it without a problem. He would love an active home and be a great addition to any family.
Blue is a heeler/lab mix to our best guess. He is a super sweet, young boy, would LOVE another dog to play with..so if you are looking for a companion for your existing dog-Blue might be your boy! He is just a great dog, that escaped euthanasia in a pound and deserves a great life! Please contact us if you are intereste in Blue.
